Yes. When you verify your email, Tradernal automatically creates a default demo account for you. This account comes with sample features, allowing you to record test trades and explore analytics. You can customize or remove it later and add real accounts with your own instruments.

An instrument represents a tradable symbol such as EUR/USD, XAU/USD, NAS100, BTC/USD, or a stock like AAPL. Instruments include optional attributes like segment (Forex, Indices, Commodities, Crypto, Stocks), base/quote currencies, and tick size.
Yes. You can create your own symbols and specify tick size if your broker uses non-standard pricing (e.g., 0.00001 for EUR/USD). Custom instruments appear alongside built-ins and can be selected when logging trades.
Tick size defines the minimum price increment for an instrument. It ensures prices and PnL are calculated correctly in analytics and trade entries (e.g., 0.01 for indices, 0.0001 or 0.00001 for Forex pairs).
Segments (Forex, Indices, Commodities, Crypto, Stocks) organize your universe for cleaner analytics. Base/quote currencies clarify pricing (e.g., EUR as base and USD as quote in EUR/USD). This helps normalize metrics and reports.
Yes. You can update attributes like segment or tick size if needed. Removing an instrument that is referenced by trades is restricted to preserve data integrity; instead, mark it inactive.
Log entries and exits, direction, size, SL/TP, realized/unrealized PnL, and notes. You can add fills (positions), link signals, tag trades, and attach files/screenshots. Search and filter by account, instrument, direction, date, tags, and more.
A "Long" trade means you are buying an instrument because you expect its price to rise (buy low, sell high). A "Short" trade means you are selling an instrument you don't own because you expect its price to fall (sell high, buy back lower).
